The V2 version of this adapter now uses a locking tab from a VFC Cassette, and as such, solving an issue where the locking tab would wear down. Additionally, the adapter no longer includes a box magazine interface plate. We recommend filing down the wings on your AEG box magazine if it doesn't fit your gun. This leads to a way nicer aesthetic.

This adapter allows you to convert your GBB M249 to HPA. You do not need to purchase their gas box magazine OR any of their mid caps. It is a 'from scratch' conversion and does not require any modification other than changing out the gas valve connector in the gas 'mag-well' of the gun.

All printed parts are in the same versatile strong material we use for our HPA adapters. All fittings / connectors are branded and hence can be provided with certificates of conformity should you require (this is also why the kit is a bit pricey)

Installation:

Remove the magazine catch from a genuine VFC cassette magazine, and install it onto the adapter (this is the sprung catch part on the underside of the magazine).

Unscrew the gas fitting on your M249 and screw in the M10 8mm push fitting (it is the only threaded piece in the kit), then push the small piece of macro-line into the M10 push fitting.

Push the right angled connector into smaller piece of macroline

Push the macro line and US fitting into the right angled connector - Your VFC M249 is now HPA!

You can now connect AEG spec M249 drum / box magazines to your M249

Insert the printed M249 magazine into your gun (it will be a tight fit the first time)

Remove the M4 magazine top from your M249 AEG box, and connect its BB feed Bowden spring to the feed clips on the printed M249 magazine.

SOUND CONTROL FROM THE BOX MAGS IS VERY INCONSISTENT AND WILL NOT LIKELY WORK, I SUGGEST USING A MORE EXPENSIVE INTELLIGENT AUTO WINDING BOX MAG, OR RUNNING A SWITCH TO YOUR TRIGGER :)  THERE IS A SWITCH INSIDE YOUR M249 WHICH LETS THE GUN FIRE WITH 'EMPTY' MAG, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ACTUATE THIS

Use the two provided grub screws to gently bite down on the feed spring- Your VFC M249 will now feed from the box magazine!

Tested with A&K 1500 round box
